Banana Nut Bread
I got this banana bread recipe from a friend, and have made many other versions. This continues to be the best recipe for banana bread I’ve tried. This bread travels well to any tailgate, and freezes well for an leftovers, (although you likely won’t have any!)

Banana Nut Bread

½ cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ cups mashed bananas (appx 3 to 5 bananas)
2 cups sifted flour
1 T. salt
½ T. baking soda
1 T. vanilla
2/3 cup chopped nuts

• Cream margarine with sugar.
• Add eggs and beat.
• Add bananas, then flour, salt and baking soda.
• Add vanilla and nuts.
• Place in greased loaf pan.
• Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hr and 15mins.

Brad’s Easy Orange Cake
This is another recipe from the Gator Championship Recipe Book and the Brad that’s referred to in the name is Brad Culpepper. His wife Monica Culpepper submitted the recipe. It is easy to make and delicious. I can see why he liked it.

1 (2-layer) package butter-recipe yellow cake mix
1 package vanilla instant pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 can mandarin oranges

Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil and undrained oranges in a large mixer bowl and beat well. Pour into a nonstick bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
