To make some common issues easier for our gatormoms.net members, we’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions to help the community.

How do I create an album and post pictures?
In the dark blue bar at the top of the screen, roll your mouse over the “my account” link with an arrow to the right. Then, click “albums” below. You should see a page with “Your Albums:” Click the blue button to the right that says “+Create Album”. It will open a menu that says “general”, “video”, and “audio”. Click “General”. This should open up a page titled “Image Manager:”. Below, click “upload”, select your image or picture, and click upload. It will open up a page with the image you just uploaded shown as a thumbnail. Click “save” and that’s it!

How do I post an image in the message boards?
To post an image in the message boards, you’ll need to reply to a thread. At the bottom of each thread, you’ll see a menu called “quick reply:” with 14 small icons underneath. Click the icon that looks like a small square painting , the 5th from the right. When you click this, “[img][/img]” will appear in the box below. Between “[img]” and “[/img]“, place the URL (http://www.exampledomainname.com/imagefilenamehere.jpg) of the image. When you click “submit quick reply” below, this image will be where you put that little bit of code. You can put your message before or after this code.

How do I add or post a video?
In the dark blue bar at the top of the screen, roll your mouse over the “my account” link with an arrow to the right. Then, click “albums” below. You should see a page with “Your Albums:” Click the blue button to the right that says “+Create Album”. It will open a menu that says “general”, “video”, and “audio”. Click “Video”. This will take you to a page called “Image Manager”, however this is where you upload videos. Click the “upload” button, select the video file you’d like to upload, and click “open” in the bottom right. Be patient, as uploading a large movie may take a while, and the bar will stay on 100% progress until it’s done. After it has been uploaded, and appears in the image manager, click the yellow “save” button at the bottom.

How do I create a photo album?

How do I change or update my profile?
When logged in, in the right-hand sidebar you’ll see a box called ‘membership details”. Click the “membership details” link underneath where it says “welcome, your username here”. This will take you to a different page titled “Your Membership Information”. Here, you can update your gatormoms.net membership. To fill out your profile, however, in the left you’ll see a link called “your profile” under “profile”. Click this link, and you’ll be taken to your profile page, where you can fill out your name, contact info, and more info about yourself. We encourage gatormoms.net to contribute by sharing, to foster a great gator community

What is an Avatar?
An avatar is a little digital image or picture representing your profile. Each gatormoms.net. member has a default image, but you may want to spruce up your gatormoms.net profile with a new avatar.

How do I change my avatar?
To change your avatar, pull down the “my account” menu in the top navigation bar, roll your mouse’s cursor over ‘profile’ below, and click “change avatar” in the menu that opens to the right. This will open up a page titled “change avatar”. Simply click “browse”, select the file in the dialog that opens up, then “open”. Then, just click “upload image”.

How do I enter the giveaways?
From the orange pages menu at the top, roll your cursor over the “features” tab. When the menu drops down from there, select “gator giveaways”. This wil open our giveaways page. The prize will be listed to both guests and gatormoms.net members, but you’ll need to log in to your account to register. Once/If you’re logged in, you should see a form below the prize description. To enter the giveaway, all you need to do is fill out your first name, last name, contact email, and a password of your choice. Please be aware this is not your gatormoms.net password, although you can set it to your account password if you’d like. Then, to enter, just click “Get Ticket”. It’s that simple.
